Ha. Irony of ironies; I fished with Ron Sutherland on the Helmsdale years ago (caught nothing; got horribly drunk). Beautiful river.
ReplyDeleteI was in Scotland seven years ago, before I discovered this illness of fly fishing, and saw guys spey casting in some of the rivers near Pitlochry. Spectacular stuff. Need to get there for some Salmon fishing.
