- I like fishing with a guide. It costs a few bucks but the expertise is often worth it and I like someone else tying on my flies and untangling my tangles. But $70,000. And the guy is going to eat lunch not make lunch. That's just wrong.
- Jimmy Carter. Fly Fishing. And killer rabbits. You can't make this stuff up.
- Lots of insanity in Montana regarding stream access. Full details from our friends at willfishforwork. Field and Stream chimes in on the subject. It's not just about Montana, but about a disturbing trend in many states -- privatizing a public resource.
- Three inches of rain and a foot of melting snow put the Stevenson gauge on the Housy at 59,900 cfs. This section fishes well around 5,000. Upper river fishes nice at 800 cfs. Last I saw it was around 11,000 cfs. Look forward to reasonable flows and rising fish.
