Yeah that would help for sure. Maybe barefoot and a willow branch, paper clip and some feathers from a nearby ladies hair:) Tie some of that string from your socks together and wolllaa. Tight Lines.
I actually have some flies on my desk here at work. And, I think I have a spool of tippet in my glove box. You're right, roll up my pants and grab a willow branch and I'm good to go.
Some days you have to be satisfied with just being out on the water if for no other reason than the fates have thrown every impediment in your way (or you were dreadfully incompetent due to your haste).
