Quick Sips: Dolphins, Grizzlies & Team Olive

• Who cares what the Dolphins are saying, we want to talk to the trout. "No, we're not eating the Sulphurs, we're eating the #28 Tricos." and "I can see your leader from a mile away, try 7x."
• We're back on the menu. Third fatal Grizzly attack this year though this one wasn't a random act like the others. The old adage comes to mind, "Don't shoot him, you'll only make him mad."
• Enjoyable series of posts from Kirk about fishing in the Casting 4 A Cure tournament. It's interesting that the Sage/Rio and Scott Rods teams placed highest. What was the edge? Angling experience? Better equipment? Or did they use a fisherman's ruler?
• I've always wondered what an Olive Wooley Bugger is supposed to mimic. Turns out there are olive crawdads (or as we like to call them, crayfish). No accounting for fashion in Illinois.
• UPDATE: I made my template a bit wider so I can now post pictures that aren't teeny. I went back and resized the pictures in Changeable Weather. Much better.
