Fifi Flies - Dam Busting Possibilities
My Dad passed this video of the B-29 Superfortress Fifi flying up to Oshkosh this year. There's some amazing footage for those who just love these old warbirds. There's an especially stirring view of a flight of P-51s coming up alongside her.

Impressive plane to be sure, though for dam busting we need something a bit more... lower level.
ReplyDeleteTom, I see what you mean; a bit too stratospheric, won't draw the crowds. Definitely something more along the lines of the B-25 or 26, perhaps a Corsair. Or, as you have suggested in the past, an A-10. A nice strafing run followed by a little JDAM action would certainly get the crowd going.
