Otherwise disengaged
Life has delivered some blows lately, both personal and professional, that have made it tough to get back into the swing of things. Nothing tragic, but important enough in value and often enough in frequency that I'm weighed down. Those, coupled with the urgent and mundane matters of the work-a-day world, has made it slow on these pages. I find comfort in my hermitage during these dark, frigid, snowbound days.
Writing projects have also languished which given their value to me personally is an error. I've got to get back to it, to break out of this funk, and produce that which helps sustain me.
But first to the water. Today. Even though other matters press, even tough there may not be enough flowing water to ply the angle, back to the water.

Your self evaluation is right on. It is easy to get buried these days and before you know it, your flat on your back looking up and wondering what hit you. Good to hear your plan for getting back on top of your writing interests.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the support, Mel.
DeleteSome of those woes, I hope, will melt with the snow. Tight lines.
