I find these eggs in one of the more urban streams where we fish. It runs right beside some softball fields... not sure, but there may be a correlation.
Now that you mention it... I find those white eggs in the same stream... but no golf course nearby... not even far upstream of where I fish. I think they get launched from the neighborhood park and homeowner's lawns. They apparently don't see those eggs as pollution.
Might need a huge big hook too. Could have been the ultimate home run.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking 20/0 Treble
DeleteSteve, thanks for the humor. Some days we all need to just a take a minute and laugh down deep!
ReplyDeleteYou're quite welcome, Mel!

ReplyDeleteThis is about a mile downstream from a school. And a golf course. I find small white eggs on the stream as well.

DeleteNeighborhood parks are secondary spawning grounds.
DeleteMatch THAT hatch! Good stuff, Steve.
ReplyDeleteI've been known to tie one on.
